Nutcracker is Christmas Eve in a wax melt. Bright lemon rind, orange and a touch of clove open it sharp and spiced, then the heart turns proper festive — roasted chestnut, caramel, pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg, like baking with the lights on. Raisin, sandalwood, oak, sugar and a nutty vanilla settle into the base and keep it warm long after.

Snap one or two cubes from the bar and place them in the dish of your wax burner. For tea-light burners, light the tea-light beneath; for electric burners, simply switch on. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep away from children and pets. When the scent fades, let the wax harden, pop it out and refresh with a new cube.
