Here at Twink Candle Company we want to help you get the very best results from every candle burn. Below are some simple tips and tricks to help you get the most from your candle.

It's important that the very first burn of your candle is long enough for the whole surface to turn to liquid wax.

Tips & Tricks

Leave the candle lit for at least 3-4 hours for the first time to avoid “tunneling”.

Trim the wick to 1/4” (4mm) before each burn. Remove any mushroomed wick by cutting down to 1/4” (4mm). This will not only give you a cleaner burn but will also help control flame size.

Do NOT burn candles for more than 4 hours at a time, we recommend 2-3 hours after the first initial burn.

Keep candle on a flat fire resistant surface and in a well ventilated area, although not too windy as this will disturb the flame and can cause smoking.

Use a snuffer to extinguish the flame, never use the candle lid or blow out the candle as this can cause wick to fall into the melted wax.

When not in use return the lid to avoid debris entering the candle.

Keep candles out of the reach of children and pets.

Never leave candles unattended.

Keep away from flammable materials.
